German behemoth Bayern Munich has unsurprisingly slapped the indispensable label on wunderkind pair Jamal Musiala and Alphonso Davies as the Bavarian outfit looks to nail down their futures at the Allianz Arena.
Both Musiala and Davies featured during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar for Germany and Canada respectively, with Musiala particularly impressive and arguably Hansi Flick’s best player despite their consecutive shock tournament exit during the group stage while Davies and Canada failed to live up to pre-tournament billing while finishing bottom of Group F.
Despite their overall national team struggles this winter, both players remain as undroppable figures under Julian Nagelsmann regardless of their youthful exuberance and have been leading lights in one of Europe’s top leagues for one of the continent’s greatest clubs.

As such, per reports from TZMünchen, Bayern is looking to secure contract extensions for both players despite Musiala currently on the books until 2026 and Davies being tied to Säbener Straße until 2025.
This certainly comes in the wake of rumored interest from Spanish giants and reigning Champions League winners Real Madrid after AS reported that Madrid will be looking to Davies during the summer transfer window in 2024 to add another top name to their long-term squad building that already includes youngsters Vinícius Júnior, Rodrygo, Eduardo Camavinga, and Aurélien Tchouaméni.
Though no links with interest in Musiala have risen to the surface, there is no doubt that other top clubs – both in England and on the continent – will view the German starlet with wandering eyes. The Stuttgart-born versatile midfielder is in the midst of a brilliant season with Bayern after hitting 9 goals and adding 7 assists in the Bundesliga before the extended international break while adding another 3 goals and 3 assists across eight cup competitions both at home and abroad.
