Faltering Leicester City is set to clash with an improving Nottingham Forest outfit tomorrow when Brendan Rodgers’ Foxes travel to the City Ground in an attempt to arrest their current poor run of form in the Premier League, featuring just one goal in recent weeks which stands testament to their current uphill climb.

With the Foxes currently on a three-match losing run which can be expanded to four defeats in their last six Premier League fixtures as the club continues to tumble down the league pecking order, questions continue to mount regarding both the future of Rodgers as well as how the club intends to re-establish their Premier League credentials which had many in English media once pegging them to replace Arsenal in the big six conversation.

Predicted Leicester City XI

Leicester City Team News

  • James Justin, Ricardo Pereira, Ryan Bertrand, Dennis Praet, Boubakary Soumaré, Jonny Evans, James Maddison, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (out)
  • Ayoze Pérez (doubt)

Brendan Rodgers contends with a continuous string of injury concerns when Leicester City visits the City Ground tomorrow as the Foxes are without up to eight senior members of the Leicester squad, including key assets James Maddison, James Justin, Boubakary Soumaré, and Jonny Evans, with upcoming returns for Maddison and Praet on the horizon.

Ayoze Pérez could be in contention to start if he passes his late assessment, but should the Spanish winger remain unavailable for selection, both Patson Daka and Jamie Vardy could both feature in the matchday XI. Should Pérez pass fit, Rodgers will be made to keep faith in Vardy despite their recent mid-week cup clash or withdraw the veteran striker for the Zambian international.
