AIK Solna

There aren’t too many games on today’s schedule but we have scoured the fixture list to bring you three bets that we feel could be productive.

All odds correct at 0920 on July 29, via bet365

AIK v GAIS

We start in the Swedish Allsvenskan and a clash between AIK and GAIS.

The hosts are 11th in the table and have been a model of inconsistency recently, winning two and losing three of their last five games. One of those defeats came last Monday when they were beaten 2-0 at GAIS.

AIK are strong at home, though, particularly in front of goal. They have scored in every league game at the Strawberry Arena for a year with their last blank coming against Malmo in July 2023. In their last four home games, they netted six against Norrkoping and five against IFK Gothenburg.

GAIS’s win against AIK last time out moved them up to seventh. Their games tend to be tighter affairs but we still fancy goals in this one.

Tip: Over two goals at 3/4

Rakow Czestochowa v Cracovia Kraków

The Polish Ekstraklasa has just got under way and this is a second matchday clash.

Rakow started with a win – a 2-0 success at Motor Lublin – while Cracovia could only manage a 1-1 draw at home to Piast Gliwice.

It makes sense to look at last season’s form and that identifies some interesting trends. Rakow were very strong at home, winning 10 and drawing five of their 17 games. Contrast that to Cracovia’s away form which saw them win just three of 17.

We can see Rakow maintaining their 100 per cent record.

Tip: Rakow to win at 13/20

Brondby v Vejle

As above, the Danish Superligaen is another league that is in its early stages. Last year, however, the sides were poles apart.

Brondby finished second in the regular season, just a point behind Midtjylland, while Vejle were second bottom.

Vejle survived the relegation round to keep their place in the top flight but this season could be a struggle again. They opened with a 3-2 defeat at home to Randers. Brondby started with a ridiculous 3-3 draw at Viborg with the visitors equalising twice in injury time.

Add in the fact Brondby have won four and drawn two of their previous six league encounters and this ought to be a resounding home win.

Tip: Brondby to win with a handicap of -1 at 10/11.

Accumulator: If you add the three above tips together, that would give you an acca of 4.5/1.
