On a snowy evening at the Allianz Arena, Bayern Munich secured a 3-0 win against Augsburg in the Bundesliga.

Harry Kane stole the show with a second-half hat-trick, ensuring the league leaders extended their dominance despite a resilient first-half performance from the visitors.

The match began under wintry conditions, with Bayern Munich dominating possession and piling on the pressure.

Augsburg’s lone first-half opportunity came in the 25th minute when Alexis Claude-Maurice tested Manuel Neuer, but the Bayern keeper remained untroubled.

Despite Bayern’s dominance – 71% possession and a barrage of shots – the teams went into halftime deadlocked.

The second half saw Bayern ramp up the intensity, with Michael Olise becoming a key figure.

The winger, recently named October’s Player of the Month, constantly threatened Augsburg with his pace and creativity.

But Bayern’s persistence finally paid off in the 63rd minute.

A handball by Mads Pedersen gifted Kane a penalty, which the England captain converted comfortably.

As Augsburg attempted a late response, their hopes were dashed in stoppage time when Keven Schlotterbeck was sent off for a second yellow card.

Kane capitalised immediately, converting the subsequent penalty to double Bayern’s advantage.

Just two minutes later, Kane completed his hat-trick in style.

A pinpoint cross from Goretzka found the striker, who coolly slotted the ball past Labrovic, sealing a decisive victory for the home side.

Harry Kane’s clinical display underscored his importance to Bayern’s success.

His composure under pressure and ability to finish decisively demonstrated why he is regarded as one of Europe’s top strikers.
