Arsenal have confirmed their starting XI to face Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

The Gunners are unbeaten in the competition this season after following up a 0-0 draw with Atalanta by beating Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 at the Emirates earlier this month.

Mikel Arteta’s men will be hoping for a much-improved performance against the Ukrainians after losing 2-0 at Bournemouth on Saturday evening in what was their first defeat of the season.

Jesus looks set to be flanked by Martinelli and Leandro Troassard in attack, with Kai Havertz dropping back to a deeper position.

Arsenal’s back four of Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel and Riccardo Califiori remains unchanged, with David Raya once again in goal.

Arsenal XI: Raya, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Califiori, Rice, Partey, Havertz, Trossard, Jesus, Martinelli

Shakhtar XI: Riznyk, Konoplia, Bondar, Matviyenko, Pedro Henrique, Zubkov, Bondarenko, Kryskiv, Eguinaldo, Sudakov, Sikan
