Hansi Flick has hailed the Champions League as the “best competition in the world” after Barcelona survived a scare against Borussia Dortmund.
The Blaugrana headed to Germany with a 4-0 lead after dominating their opponents in Spain.
But things began to unravel in Dortmund when the hosts took an early lead, converting a penalty.
Another strike from the Bundesliga side made the stadium even louder, before the visitors hit back.
It calmed Barca’s tensions, but it was a frantic final 10 minutes when Dortmund got their third.
In the end, they didn’t have enough and Barca progressed to the semi-finals, and Flick was a relieved man at full-time.

Speaking to the media, he said: “The Champions League is the best competition in the world. Reaching the semi-finals is fantastic for the club.
“The opponent is very good, the atmosphere was great. It’s not easy to play this kind of match, but we qualified.
“We could have played better, but putting too much pressure on my players would be disrespectful to Dortmund.
“We need to have a more positive outlook and try not to be too negative.
“From the match, it’s very clear to see what we have to improve on.”
When asked who he would prefer when it comes to facing Bayern Munich or Inter Milan in the semi-finals, Flick was giving nothing away with his answer.
He added: “Bayern or Inter? I don’t have a preference. I’ll watch the match at home and enjoy the show.”
