Barcelona boss Hansi Flick is not having any complacency in his squad despite the 4-0 rout of Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

The Spanish giants will take a huge lead into the quarter-final second leg in Germany after Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal all scored in the first meeting.

Despite many perhaps thinking Barca have two feet firmly planted in the semi-finals, Flick refused to entertain any such talks.

Speaking in his post-match press conference, he said: “Never, we can never think we have already qualified. You never know what can happen. Football is a crazy sport.

“We have to play exactly like we did today in Dortmund. They’re a very good team, but we trust ourselves.

“When you play like that, you score goals, and that’s what happened.”

It was a good night for Lewandowski, who bagged a brace, including his 99th goal for Barcelona.

He will be hoping to enjoy a night with a similar amount of chances when he heads back to the club he made his name at.

The Polish striker added: “Today we played as a team. It doesn’t matter who scores.. Me, Rapha, Lamine… We all score for Barcelona and that’s what matters.

“It doesn’t matter if we scored 4 goals today. We have to play at the same level or better in Germany. We have to be ready.

“I’m very happy. 99 goals with the club now. I always have to help the team with my goals and my quality. Strikers should always think about scoring goals. If we play well as a team, it makes it easier for me and everyone else.”
