Liverpool have the chance to knock out one of their main rivals in the Champions League tonight.
Arne Slot’s side come into the second leg of their round of 16 tie with Paris Saint-Germain hugely fortunate to be holding a 1-0 advantage – Harvey Elliott’s late goal in France coming after a brilliant display from Reds goalkeeper Alisson.
It won’t be straightforward tonight, however. PSG have won their last 10 away games in all competitions and have players with blistering pace on the counter attack – including Ousmane Dembele and Bradley Barcola.
Liverpool will have to play better than they did at the weekend in beating Southampton 3-1 after being 1-0 down at half-time.
