Manchester City are struggling to make an impact against Club Brugge in their crucial Champions League fixture.
The Premier League champions have yet to register a shot on target, with an xG of just 0.19, currently leaving them outside of the play-off places.
However, they did have a goal ruled out in the 17th minute when Bernardo Silva flicked one in behind for Ilkay Gundogan to score but the Club Brugge high line was timed to perfection.
But the warning signs have been there from the visitors. Early on Christos Tzolis broke away for Brugge causing panic in the City defence, but nothing came of the effort.
Brugge continued to apply pressure, with Chemsdine Talbi testing Ederson moments later. The tension at the Etihad is palpable, as Guardiola urges his players to increase the tempo.
City have shown signs that they are starting to find their rhythm. Phil Foden’s long-range effort flashed wide, while Erling Haalandβs header across goal went unmet.

De Bruyne had another opportunity in the 26th minute but fired over the bar. Guardiola remains visibly anxious as his team fight to stay in the competition.
With Brugge unbeaten in their last four Champions League matches, City must find a breakthrough quickly to keep their qualification hopes alive.
