Liverpool travel to RB Leipzig for their latest Champions League outing and are looking to maintain their perfect start in the competition.

Having already beaten AC Milan and Bologna, the Reds are on track to join Aston Villa at the top of the table.

But Leipzig are out for blood having lost their two Champions League games so far.

A win is essential if the German side are to have any hope of making it out of the league phase and will be relying on their crowd for an extra boost against the six-time winners.

Read on to discover how both teams line-up for Wednesday night’s match.

RB Leipzig line-up

Leipzig have plenty of talent on their books these days and will need to squeeze out every bit of it tonight.

Peter Gulacsi is in goal and is protected by a back three of Castello Lukeba, Willi Orban and Lukas Klostermann.

Wing-backs Antonio Nusa and Lutsharel Geertruida are in the side,  as are midfielders Amadou Haidara and Arthur Vermeeren.

Benjamin Sesko and Xavi Simons provide plenty of quality as attacking midfielders for the hosts.

And Lois Openda is the lone striker.

Liverpool line-up

Liverpool still have a few players struggling with injuries, so are having to adapt on the road.

Caoimhin Kelleher is in goal while Alisson is out, but a back four of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk and Kostas Tsimikas remain.

Alexis Mac Allister is back in the starting XI after nursing an injury, with Ryan Gravenberch next to him.

Cody Gakpo is preferred to Luis Diaz on the left, with Mohammed Salah on the right-wing and Dominik Szobozlai in a No.10 role.

Darwin Nunez gets the nod up front.
