The Champions League knockout round play-offs are done and dusted with eight teams securing their place in the last 16 over Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

Manchester City crashed out at the hands of Real Madrid, while Italian duo AC Milan and Juventus were dumped out against Dutch competitiors Feyenoord and PSV.

Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund, Club Brugge and Benfica also progressed to the knockout stages with victories over two legs,

They join the likes of Premier League trio Liverpool, Arsenal and Aston Villa who already had a place in the last 16 after finishing in the top eight of the revamped league phase, as well as team such as Barcelona, Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid.
