Porto and Roma played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their Europa League knockout play-off tie.
Mehmet Zeki Celik opened the scoring for the visitors on the brink of half-time after surging up the field to fire in and for a long time looked pretty comfortable in Portugal.
But Francisco Moura finished off a counter-attack to bring the game level in the 67th minute before Roma’s problems went from bad to worse five minutes later when Bryan Cristante was sent off for his second bookable offence.
Porto pushed for a winner but failed to make the home and extra player advantage count and the two sides will meet against at the Stadio Olympico next week with all to play for.

Ajax are on course for the last 16 of the Europa League after a convincing 2-0 victory away at Belgian side Union St Gilloise.
After a goalless first half which saw the visitors denied a goal via the use of goal-line technology, Christian Rasmussen broke the deadlock just before the hour mark with a fine strike into the far corner.
The Dutch giants were 2-0 up in the 71st minute through a stunning goal by 16-year-old Jorthy Mokio, who unleashed a powerful strike from the edge of the box to put his side in command of the tie.
