The Europa League was out in full force following an entertaining few days of Champions League action.

Two English teams and one Scottish were in action on an important night for the standings.

Tottenham beat AZ Alkmaar despite not being at their best in North London to maintain their perfect start.

Manchester United played out a 1-1 draw with Fenerbahce in a match that saw former Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho sent off.

Qarabag 0-3 Ajax

Ajax had a perfect night in Azerbaijan, beating Qarabag on the road.

The Dutch side scored three times through Kenneth Taylor,  Wout Weghorst and Chuba Akpom.

And to make things worse for Qarabag, they saw two men sent off to further dampen their spirits.

Roma 1-0 Dynamo Kyiv

Roma got the job done at home to Dynamo Kyiv.

The Italian side won themselves a penalty in the 23rd minute, which was dispatched by Artem Dovbyk.

It was a dominant display by the hosts and on another day could have had plenty more goals.

Athletic Bilbao 1-0 Slavia Prague

Similar to Roma, Athletic Bilbao picked up three more points in the Europa League.

It was their starboy Nico Williams who netted the goal 33 minutes in.

Slavia Prague had their chances to bring it back but couldn’t get it done, amassing 1.13 xG compared to Bilbao’s 0.17.

Lyon 0-1 Besiktas

Turkish side Besiktas stunned Lyon, beating them 1-0.

Former Tottenham winger Gedson Fernandes got the only goal of the game, scoring in the 71st minute.

Lyon managed 30 shots across the whole game but had an off-night.

Rangers 4-0 FCSB

Rangers cruised past Romanian side FCSB.

It was total dominance from the Scottish side, scoring twice in the first half and two more in the second.

Tom Lawrence, Vaclav Cerny and Hamza Igamane were the men on the scoresheet for the hosts.
