Rangers tonight have the chance to pile more pressure on former Celtic hero Ange Postecoglou.
It has been a turbulent week for the Australian with last Thursday’s 1-0 defeat at Bournemouth met with fury by supporters. It appeared calm had been restored when Spurs surged into a 2-0 lead against Chelsea on Sunday afternoon but some familiar failings returned as their London rivals emerged 4-3 winners after a rousing comeback.
Postecoglou led Celtic to five trophies in his two seasons at Parkhead before leaving for Spurs in June 2023.
A win for the home side tonight would ramp up the scrutiny on him further as well as boost Rangers’ chances of a top-eight finish.
