Philippe Clement says Rangers will attack Manchester United tomorrow night after proving already this season that they can rise to the occasion.
The Glasgow giants will take on a United side bereft of form and confidence but still possessing a wealth of European experience.
It means Rangers will start the game as outsiders but Clement feels his side showed in the recent 3-0 mauling of Celtic in the Old Firm derby that they have the ability to beat anyone on their day.

He said: “We have our game plan like we always do.
“I don’t believe in parking the bus in front of goal and hoping nothing happens and to score on the break.
“We will look to play to our qualities, but we need to look at Manchester United’s quality, like we have in all the European games.
“I am not busy with Manchester United and if they are high in confidence or low in confidence.
“We had it a few weeks before the Old Firm and no one gave us a chance and the team proved what they can do in big moments.
“It is about focusing on ourselves and what we want to do.
“I am convinced our team can hurt every opponent, but we need to be very united and work really hard without the ball, we need to do a lot right to get a good result here.
“But the team is in a good position as they have done it several times this season. We are all motivated to get a good result here.”
Clement not interested in the “noise” around United
All eyes will be on United after head coach Ruben Amorim labelled his players “maybe the worst team in the club’s history” but Clement is solely focused on getting a win that would enable Rangers to take a giant stride towards the Europa League knockout stages.
He added: “We know what to expect but we have to focus on ourselves and not the noise around Manchester United.
“We need to show our qualities and get the best out of each other.
“It has been a long time since Rangers won in England, so we have to go for the challenge.”
