Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler has expressed his admiration for new England head coach and fellow German Thomas Tuchel.
The former Chelsea and Bayern Munich boss will be taking over the Three Lions at the start of 2025 and has the backing of the man on the South Coast.
Hurzeler believes the Football Association have made the right decision by bringing Tuchel in, despite him being English.
Speaking to the media, he said: “I’m happy for him.
“I really admire him. He has proved he can build a successful team quite fast.
“I wish him all the best.

“He is able to make the players better and he has tactical intelligence. In my opinion, he’s a good choice.
“I think he has the skills to build a really successful in a short time and that is a really special skill, not everyone can do this.
“He has a clear structure, he has tactical intelligence. I saw it against Arsenal and Real Madrid in the Champions League last season.
“In my opinion, he’s a good choice for the England team. I like self-confidence and a clear vision and a goal. In Germany, we have a good coach in Julian Nagelsmann.”
Tuchel will become just the third foreign manager to take charge of England after Sven-Goran Eriksson and Fabio Capello.
Pep Guardiola was also on England’s shortlist but could not commit to the job with his future at Manchester City unclear.
Lee Carsley will remain in charge of the nation on an interim basis for the final two Nations League games in November.
