Kane enjoyed a record-breaking first season in Germany working with Tuchel, scoring 44 goals in 45 games in all competitions.
He then later gave his thoughts to Sky Sports News on the prospect of working with the German tactician again.
“It’s obviously big news with Thomas becoming our new England coach. I think it’s a really great appointment,” Kane said.
“Obviously, I worked closely with him last season. And think he’s a really top, top coach and and also a great person.
“So I think he’ll bring a lot of energy to the squad and a lot of experience as well.
“So [I’m] really looking forward to starting with him next year.”
Tuchel undecided on Kane captaincy
Speaking at his official unveiling, Tuchel stopped short of confirming that Kane will remain as England captain, a role he has held since 2018.
But the former Chelsea boss did speak upo his admiration for the 31-year-old, insisting he is already on his way to legendary status in English football.
“It’s too early to answer these kind of questions,” he said when asked about Kane’s captaincy. “You know how highly I think of Harry and how much I fought to bring him to Bayern.
“He is already on his way to be a legend in English football but now it’s also very important to give the respect to Lee [Carsley] and upcoming camp in November to take his decisions without me interfering.
“We will answer this question in March at the latest.”
