England boss Thomas Tuchel says it will take time for the Three Lions to be their best under his reign.
The Euro 2024 finalists beat Latvia 3-0 at Wembley, a few days after overcoming Albania in the same stadium.
It means they have had a perfect start to their World Cup qualifying campaign and sit top of Group K.
And it was another slow start against Monday night’s opposition, like it was against Albania.
But a brilliant free-kick from Reece James broke the deadlock, before goals from Harry Kane and Eberechi Eze rounded off a good night for the Three Lions.
Tuchel was happy enough with the result but admits there is still a lot to come from his side.
🗣️ "There were definitely more patterns of play"
🗣️ "We spoke about those areas outside of the width of the goal as where most assists come from"

He said: “It was not an easy match. We saw a lot of good things, created good chances. We needed a free-kick to unlock it. I’m happy with the attitude, energy and desire. We will get there.
“I know Reecey [James] and the quality the boy has is amazing. He has every right to be proud and happy with his performance. He is in excellent shape. He looks sharp, in shape and the quality there can be no doubt.
“The second half we started to slow the game down and made little movement, which makes no sense. But the second goal was better as we showed acceleration from one of our sixes. We encourage everyone to have these late accelerations but we struggled a bit until the goal.
“I learn about the players and the game, so it is interesting.”
England will now have a 75-day break before they take on Andorra on June 7.
