Barcelona have named Ronald Araujo among the substitutes for their rearranged La Liga clash with Osasuna despite manager Hansi Flick previously saying the Uruguayan would not feature due to injury.
Araujo missed his country’s 0-0 draw with Bolivia on Tuesday, leading Flick to rule the defender out along with Raphinha after the Brazilian played in the 4-1 thrashing at the hands of Argentina on Wednesday.
Barcelona’s fixture against Osasuna at the Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium was originally scheduled for Saturday 8 March. However, the game was postponed just minutes before kick-off due to the death of the Catalan club’s doctor, Carles Minarro Garcia.
A win for Flick’s side would move them three points clear of rivals Real Madrid at the top of the table. However, the match scheduling in La Liga – a point of particular frustration for Flick – means Barca have to contend with playing seven games in 20 days.
Osasuna, meanwhile, are currently in 14th spot, six points clear of the relegation zone.
Here are how the two teams line up for tonight’s meeting.
