Real Madrid eased to victory in the Intercontinental Cup final with a 3-0 win over Mexican side Pachuca in Qatar.
Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring in the first half at the Lusail Stadium, the same place he scored a hat-trick in the World Cup final exactly two years prior.
Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr were also on target in the second half to hand Los Blancos the victory in the tournament, which was formerly the Club World Cup before it was expanded and moved to summer.
Mbappe gave Los Blancos the lead in the 37th minute, tapping home after Vinicius had rounded Pachuca goalkeeper Carlos Moreno.
Rodrygo doubled their lead early in the second half with a superb curling strike from the edge of the box.

Pachuca captain Salomon Rondon, formerly of West Brom and Newcastle, forced Thibaut Courtois to save a free-kick before the 35-year-old narrowly missed the target with a header.
Vinicius, just named Best Men’s player at the Fifa Best awards, made it 3-0 from the spot after Lucas Vazquez was brought down by Oussama Idrissi.
