Real Madrid vs Pachuca: Line-ups confirmed for Intercontinental Cup final

Real Madrid have the chance to add a last piece of silverware in 2024 when they take on Mexican side Pachuca in the Intercontinental Cup final in Qatar.

The 2023-24 Champions League winners take on the CONCACAF Champions Cup winners in the new-look tournament,  previously known as the Club World Cup which will now take place next summer.

Pachuca have upset the odds to reach the showpiece event, beating Copa Libertadores champions Botafogo and African giants Al Ahly to set up their first ever meeting with Los Blancos.

Carlo Ancelotti has named a strong line-up for the clashi in Lusail, with No1 Thibaut Courtois selected in goal.

The back four sees Lucas Vazquez, Aurelien Tchouameni, Antonio Rudiger and Fran Garcia feature, with a midfield trio of Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Valverde and Jude Bellingham.

A star-studded front three is comprised of Rodrygo, Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior.
