Taylor Swift is in line to be the next artist to collaborate with Barcelona with reports suggesting her name will adorn the club’s shirt for the Clasico with Real Madrid in May.

RAC1 claim the 14-time Grammy winner, and girlfriend of NFL star Travis Kelce, has been targeted by Barca and sponsor Spotify for the crunch La Liga title clash.

Swift is reportedly first choice with Ed Sheeran and Travis Scott thought to be back-ups if the American decides against dipping her toe into the world of football.

The 35-year-old recently concluded her Eras world tour which included two nights in Madrid.

Swift could follow in the footsteps of Coldplay, the Rolling Stones and Drake

The reverse fixture, at the Santiago Bernabeu in October, saw Barca wear a Coldplay-inspired shirt that had the English band’s Moon Music logo on the front. It did the Blaugrana no harm as they ran out convincing 4-0 winners.

The Catalan giants have also collaborated previously with the likes of Drake and the Rolling Stones.

The Clasico on May 11 could be a defining game in the season.

Heading back into domestic action after the international break, Barca and Madrid are level on 60 points although Hansi Flick’s side have a game in hand which comes tonight at home to Osasuna.
