Arsenal welcome West Ham to the Emirates knowing a win may prove a vital step in Mikel Arteta’s side making ground on Premier League leaders Liverpool.

The Reds’ 2-2 draw at Aston Villa in midweek has opened the door ever so slightly for Arteta’s men and victory over the Hammers will move them within five points of Slot’s team, who face Manchester City on Sunday.

West Ham, meanwhile, have failed to pick up a win in their last four games with new boss Graham Potter struggling to make an impact. They currently find themselves in 16th place, 10 points above the drop zone.
