After their frantic activity in the transfer window, Chelsea return to action this afternoon when Crystal Palace visit Stamford Bridge.

Enzo Maresca’s side enjoyed a superb 6-2 win at Wolves last Sunday and qualified for the Europa Conference League in midweek despite a disappointing 2-1 second leg defeat to Servette.

Palace had high hopes coming into the season under Oliver Glasner but have made a slow start with league defeats to Brentford and West Ham.

Glasner will be hoping his side can build on their 4-0 thrashing of Norwich City in the EFL Cup on Tuesday night.

Chelsea Team News

Pedro Neto is handed his first Premier League start following his switch from Wolves.

Neto’s inclusion in place of Mykhailo Mudryk is the only change to the side that played so well at Molineux.

Maresca rotated his squad for the game with Servette with only captain Enzo Fernandez and Noni Madueke retaining their places in the starting XI.

Jadon Sancho was not registered in time to play following his deadline day move from Manchester United.

Chelsea: Sanchez, Cucurella, Colwill, Neto, Fernandez, Madueke, Jackson, Palmer, Caicedo, Gusto, Fofana.

Subs: Jorgensen, Disasi, Adarabioyo, Mudryk, Felix, Nkunku, Dewsbury-Hall, Casadei, Veiga.

Crystal Palace Team News

Glasner makes three changes to the Palace side that lost to West Ham.

Nathaniel Clyne, Daichi Kamada and Will Hughes all come in to replace Chad Riad, Jefferson Lerma and Odsonne Edouard, who joined Leicester City on Friday.

Crystal Palace: Henderson, Mitchell, Guehi, Eze, Munoz, Mateta, Clyne, Kamada, Hughes, Wharton, Richards.

Subs: Matthews, Ward, Sarr, Schlupp, Doucoure, Rodney, Umeh-Chibueze, Devenny, Agbinone.
