The Norway international has a remarkable 70 Premier League goals to his name – level with Manchester United legend Eric Cantona – in just 69 appearances for City.
New Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler has been named manager of the month at the first attempt – the youngest manager to win the award.
The 31-year-old guided the Seagulls to wins over Everton and Manchester United, with a draw at Arsenal the other result in an unbeaten start.
And Chelsea’s Cole Palmer won Goal of the month for his superb lob in the win at Wolves.
