Brentford boss Thomas Frank admits Fulham deserved the win in their Monday Night Football clash.
The Bees were leading for much of the game through Vitaly Janelt’s brilliant strike but collapsed late on at Craven Cottage.
Harry Wilson came off the bench to make a huge impact, scoring a brace to send the West London crowd wild.
And although Brentford had the advantage, it was the home side who were on top for much of the game.
Frank had no complaints when talking to the media after the game.
He said: “I think the better team on the day won it in the end. We lost it from a situation where we did everything right – credit to Harry Wilson but he only scores from that position one in 100.
🗨️ “These 24 hours will hurt massively … then we need to be laser focused and look forward”

“Every game has its own story – we mainly look at ourselves, but there’s another team on the pitch who did well today.
“Let’s look at the end of the season and see how many wins we’ve got on the road.
“On paper Fulham probably aren’t the biggest team we’ve played, but they probably did the best against us in terms of dominating the game.
“It was tough. It is emotionally very tough right now.
“When you are leading in the 92nd minute and you lose it is tough. I don’t think we hit our highest level. I think on the day Fulham were better.
“There was a lot of good defending and effort and I thought that would have given us the win. We could have won it with the chance for Fabio Carvalho and then we lost.
“When we look at the game back and we are more cool-headed we will probably be very happy with the defensive standard.
“I thought there were unbelievable blocks and recovery runs and all that we did well. On the ball, we didn’t do enough.”
