Arsenal’s 2-1 defeat of Tottenham in the North London derby on Wednesday night, coupled with Liverpool’s draw at Nottingham Forest 24 hours earlier, has breathed new life into the Gunners’ title bid.
Mikel Arteta’s men are four points adrift of the Merseysiders, and have played a game more, but it seems as though there may yet be a race to the finish after looking for so long that Liverpool would cruise home.
A home game with Aston Villa is fraught with danger, though, with Unai Emery’s men winning 2-0 on their last visit to the Emirates in April.
Villa were victorious on the road in midweek too, beating Everton 1-0 at Goodison Park.
