Aston Villa enjoyed an impressive 3-1 win at Club Brugge on Tuesday night to put themselves in a strong position to advance to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Unai Emery’s men are still in the FA Cup and it could turn out to be a season to remember.
The one glaring issue for Villa is their league form which threatens to see them miss out on European football completely next season. They arrive at Brentford in 10th place in the Premier League having won just one of their last seven league games.
And they won’t find it easy against Thomas Frank’s men either. Brentford have lost just one of their last five, winning three.
