Aston Villa’s bid to clinch a Champions League spot continues tonight when they visit Crystal Palace.
Unai Emery’s men had gone five league games without a win before Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Chelsea at Villa Park. But such is the congested nature of the table, the West Midlanders could go fourth tonight if they win and other results go their way.
It won’t be easy, however, against a Palace side that can threaten the best on their day.
Oliver Glasner’s men will be looking to improve on a poor home record. They have won just one of their last eight league games at Selhurst Park, and that came against rock-bottom Southampton.
