Liverpool will expect to maintain their advantage at the top of the Premier League when they host struggling Ipswich this afternoon.

Arne Slot’s reign started with a 2-0 win at Portman Road on the season’s opening day in August and the Reds have not looked back since.

They have lost just one league game all season and hold a six-point lead over Arsenal and Nottingham Forest with a game in hand on both.

Ipswich have found life tough in the top flight following promotion and were given a harsh lesson by Manchester City last Sunday, losing 6-0 at home to the defending champions.
