It has not been a good week for Manchester United.

Although they hit back to claim a 2-2 draw at Everton on Saturday it was another largely unconvincing display from Ruben Amorim’s men. Off the field, there has been news of big pay-offs to former coach Erik ten Hag and sporting director Dan Ashworth, accompanied by announcements of up to 200 redundancies.

It all adds up to a pretty unhappy club and it will be interesting to see the reaction if Ipswich can take an early lead at Old Trafford tonight.

The Tractor Boys are 18th and in need of wins to climb out of the relegation zone. They have won just one of their last 10 in the league and were beaten 4-1 at home by Tottenham at the weekend.
