Two of the Premier League’s in-form sides clash this afternoon when Newcastle host Aston Villa.
Eddie Howe’s side claimed their third successive win in all competitions on Saturday, a 4-0 success at struggling Ipswich, while Villa recorded their fourth win in five games with a 2-1 triumph over Manchester City.
Villa will hope to avoid a repeat of last year’s 5-1 defeat in the corresponding fixture.
