Chelsea will look to maintain their recent unbeaten run when they visit the Premier League’s bottom side Southampton tonight.
Enzo Maresca’s men have not lost in their last six games in all competitions with the Italian’s achievements in sorting out what appeared a chaotic mess at Stamford Bridge flying under the radar.
Maresca described the trip to the south coast as Chelsea’s “toughest game of the season” so far but his side will be expected to record another three points against a side that have accumulated just five from 13 games.
Southampton did, however, play well at Brighton last Friday in a game that finished controversially in a 1-1 draw.
