The Premier League has not disappointed since the return from international football and Liverpool will be hoping to return to Anfield and put on a show for the fans.

Everyone expects the Reds to wrap up the title sooner rather than later, but with Arsenal winning on Tuesday, the gap at the top is down to nine points.

Arne Slot’s men can extend that back to 12 but first must dispatch their arch-rivals Everton.

After a dramatic clash at Goodison Park earlier in the season, those watching will know anything can happen in a Merseyside derby.

Read on to see how both teams line-up for the clash.

Liverpool line-up

Liverpool’s stars are back in action but there are a few notable absentees.

Caoimhin Kelleher is in goal with Alisson not fully fit, and Curtis Jones is at right-back in place of Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk fill the centre of defence alongside Andy Robertson.

In midfield, Ryan Gravenberch partners Alexis Mac Allister, with Dominik Szoboszlai in the No.10.

Mohamed Salah is on the right, Luis Diaz on the left and Diogo Jota through the middle.

Everton line-up

David Moyes will undoubtedly aim to set his team up in a low block and counter the Reds.

Jordan Pickford is in goal, behind a back four of Jake O’Brien, James Tarkowski, Jarrod Branthwaite, and Vitaliy Mykolenko.

James Garner and Idrissa Gueye are in the midfield pivot.

Jack Harrison, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Carlos Alcaraz are the three in front.

And Beto is the man up top.
