Pop star Ed Sheeran has apologised to Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim for gatecrashing his post-match interview with Sky Sports yesterday.
Amorim was speaking after his first game in charge of United ended in a 1-1 draw at Ipswich Town.
The pitchside chat was interrupted, however, by Sheeran, who is a minority shareholder of Ipswich.

Amorim did not look overly impressed as host Kelly Cates attempted to keep the interview on track while Sheeran chatted to pundit Jamie Redknapp.
Fans immediately took to social media, accusing Sheeran of being rude and disrespectful to the Portuguese, who earlier watched his side go ahead after 81 seconds through Marcus Rashford only for Omari Hutchinson to level two minutes before half-time.
Sheeran responded via his Instagram story today, saying: “Apologies if I offended Amorim yesterday, didn’t actually realise he was being interviewed at the time, was popping to say hi and bye to Jamie [Redknapp].
“Obvz feel a bit of a b****** but life goes on. Great game though, congrats on all involved.”
