Newcastle manager Eddie Howe says he does not expect his squad to change before the end of the transfer window after forward Miguel Almiron left this week.
Almiron returned to MLS side Atlanta for £8m but Howe is not expecting to replace him with a new signing.
He said: “We knew, barring something huge happening, that we didn’t expect it would be a window that we could recruit in.
“I’ve said that right from from the outset and despite being linked with numerous players, that’s still the case.
“We’re not actively looking to bring players in but hopefully the squad’s in a decent place if we can get Callum Wilson and Harvey Barnes back fit and firing within a few weeks. I think the the squad will look good.
“As we stand now, currently I don’t [see any more outgoings], but things can change. As we stand at the moment, I expect the squad to remain the same.”
Eddie Howe on Callum Wilson and Harvey Barnes:
"Callum is getting there, we have seen him in training this week. He’s not been involved in all of the session but part of it, there is no plan to involve him this week but chance for games coming up after. Harvey is a little… pic.twitter.com/1EZRJdKYqm

Forward Wilson has made just four appearances for the club this season as he struggles with injury but is back in training while winger Barnes is set to be out for another three weeks.
“It’s probably not ideal for us in this moment to be light in that position but it is what it is and I’ve always said I’ve got no problems dealing with that,” Howe said.
“I’m trying to make the best of the situation, so we’ll look at solutions and players in different positions if we need to. That’s my job to try and find a solution if that happens.”
