Tottenham will be without both Dominic Solanke and Rodrigo Bentancur for their Premier League match against Everton this week.
Head coach Ange Postecoglou updated the media on the current injury situation at the club after Bentancur was taken off with a concussion against Leicester on Monday night.
The Australian revealed that Solanke – who signed from Bournemouth this summer – has a slight knock on his ankle that will rule him out of a home debut in North London.
On the pair, he said: “Dominic picked up a knock in the last game, he got through the game, but he flared up the day after and he’ll miss tomorrow.
“Irrespective of concussion protocols, any head injury we’ve always got to be more conservative from my perspective.
“He’s [Bentancur] bounced back really well, he’s done all the tests and feels good but we’ll take our time with Rodrigo to make sure he’s absolutely 100 per cent before we put him out there again.
“It’s unfortunate for Rodrigo as he had a good game on Monday night.”

Postecoglou also revealed that Yves Bissouma is back in contention for a spot in the starting XI, but he still has some bridges to rebuild with the squad.
The Mali international was suspended for the Premier League opener after being seen inhaling laughing gas on social media.
Postecoglou added: “Biss is available but we’ve got other options there and the bridge building continues.”

Odobert debut?
Recent signing Wilson Odobert missed out on Monday night as he was still waiting for a work permit to be approved, but he is in line to make his first Spurs appearance on Saturday.
The 19-year-old joined from Burnley having impressed in the Premier League with the Clarets last season.
Posteoclgou said: “It’s no secret we were looking for a wide player and Wilson was one of the ones we highlighted.
“We had to go through certain steps to get these things done. Once Dom [Solanke] was done there was one target and that was Wilson and that happened really quickly.

“I really like the way he plays in the wide areas. He’s different to our other wingers. He’s a dribbler, he likes to get into the front third. He can play either side, he can play central.
“He’s had a really good development if you look at his trajectory from PSG as a youngster to Troyes, playing in Ligue 1, and France and Premier League football before the age of 19.
“I think he ticked all the boxes for us and he’s a fantastic young bloke as well, so really happy to get him in.
“I won’t bring players here who I don’t think can meaningfully contribute to us in the short-term and Wilson definitely will.”
Work to be done
Postecoglou has not ruled out further transfer dealings before the window shuts despite shipping out plenty of unwanted players this summer.
As well as recruiting some bright talent, Spurs have said goodbye to the likes of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Oliver Skipp, Joe Rodon, Tanguy Ndombele, Ryan Sessegnon and Emerson Royal.
Reports suggest Manor Solomon, Giovani Lo Celso and Sergio Reguilon could all still depart before the deadline.

The former Celtic boss added: “A couple more [players] will go out, but we’ve done a fair bit of work over the last 12 months in terms of the squad.
As much as the focus has been on getting guys in, we’ve changed the squad a fair bit, brought down the demographic a fair way.
“We’ve brought in footballers who are more better suited to play the football we want to play moving forwards.
“So, there has been a lot of work done in that area from our perspective, but with a week to go there is still a little bit to do.”
