Liverpool returned to winning ways in the Premier League results today as the Reds followed up their 3-1 victory at Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Tottenham and Aston Villa came from behind to prevail and Fulham also secured an impressive win after Chelsea thrashed West Ham in the early kick-off.

There was a goal during the first minute again and three during second-half added time across the games, which all took place before Crystal Palace vs Manchester United (5.30pm BST).

Catch up with all of the action from the Premier League results today, including Everton moving off the bottom of the pile.

Liverpool vs Bournemouth: Luis Diaz double

Forward Luis Diaz struck twice in four first-half minutes as Liverpool recovered in style from their shock 1-0 defeat at home to Nottingham Forest last time out.

Bournemouth played boldly and had an Antoine Semenyo goal ruled out for offside before the opener, but Darwin Nunez curled in his first goal since April after 38 minutes to complete the scoring in a 3-0 win.

Tottenham vs Brentford: Solanke strikes

Lightning struck twice for Brentford, who scored inside the first minute for a second successive Premier League match – having also done so at Manchester City – only to again be beaten 2-1.

Bryan Mbeumo’s splendid volley put the Bees ahead at Tottenham, who came back to end their two-match losing league run through first-half strikes by Dominic Solanke and Brennan Johnson and James Maddison’s 85th-minute finish from Son Heung-min’s pass.

West Ham vs Chelsea: Jackson goals

West Ham lost all of their first three home league games for the first time in their history as Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca became the first Premier League manager since Pep Guardiola to win all of his first three away goals.

Nicolas Jackson profited on poor defending to score twice in 15 first-half minutes, with Cole Palmer firing in two minutes after the break to send Chelsea third with a 3-0 win before the afternoon fixtures.

Wolves vs Aston Villa: Watkins leads comeback

Aston Villa came from behind to win for a second successive home game with a 3-1 victory, hitting back after Matheus Cunha had pounced on slackness in possession from fellow Brazilian Diego Carlos to open the scoring in the 25th minute of a first half Wolves dominated.

Ollie Watkins equalised 17 minutes from time before Ezri Konsa put Villa ahead two minutes from time and Jhon Duran – their matchwinner against Everton last time at Villa Park – added another during added time.

Fulham vs Newcastle: Magpies beaten

Fulham’s bright start suggested they could hand Newcastle a first defeat of the season, Raul Jimenez striking after five minutes before Emile Smith Rowe’s thumping shot hit the crossbar.

Smith Rowe went one better via some questionable Nick Pope goalkeeping after 22 minutes. Harvey Barnes rolled in a reply seconds after the break but Bruno Guimaraes’ mistake allowed Reiss Nelson to make it 3-1 during added time.

Leicester vs Everton: Mavididi earns point

Everton took their first point of the season but it could have been three, the Toffees taking the lead in a 1-1 draw through Iliman Ndiaye’s first Premier League goal in the 12th minute with a low finish.

Leicester’s 73rd-minute equaliser was a scrappy one as the Foxes collected their third point of the season, Stephy Mavididi responsible from close range.

Southampton vs Ipswich: Morsy replies late

Southampton started their meeting of newly-promoted sides at risk of suffering consecutive home league defeats to Ipswich for the first time since 1980.

Eighteen-year-old midfielder Tyler Dibling slotted in after five minutes to give Saints the lead for the first time this season and Cameron Archer also shot against a post for the hosts. Ipswich captain Sam Morsy earned his side a point from 25 yards out via a Joe Aribo deflection to make it 1-1.
