Liverpool stayed top of the table and there were comeback wins for nearest rivals Manchester City and Arsenal in the Premier League results today.
Brentford had the better of an eight-goal thriller at home to Wolves, while West Ham and Leicester City won at home for the first time.
West Ham ended their wretched start to the campaign at home with their first victory since August, beating an Ipswich Town side who are fourth-bottom above Crystal Palace, Southampton and Wolves.
Newcastle visit Everton in the late game on Saturday. Aston Villa host Manchester United, Chelsea are at home to Nottingham Forest and Tottenham head to Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.

Man City vs Fulham: Kovacic goals spark comeback
Manchester City survived falling behind to a 26th-minute Andreas Pereira goal to stay a point behind Liverpool and extend their run of wins against Fulham to 17 games in all competitions.
Mateo Kovacic scored either side of the break but Fulham missed two huge first-half chances to score again, both through Adama Traore. After Jeremy Doku scored eight minutes from time, the Cottagers eventually struck again through Rodrigo Muniz in a 3-2 defeat.
Arsenal vs Southampton: Gunners avoid shock result
Arsenal fended off a shock as second-half goals from Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka meant they came from behind to go a point behind Liverpool with a 3-1 win.
Havertz equalised three minutes after summer signing Cameron Archer – on as a substitute – had given Saints a 55th-minute lead. Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Tyler Dibling also hit the woodwork during the second half for the visitors, who are yet to win.

Crystal Palace vs Liverpool: Jota goal decisive
Diogo Jota’s ninth-minute strike from Cody Gakpo’s cross gave Arne Slot nine wins from his first 10 games in charge as Liverpool ensured they will remain top of the table during the international break.
Liverpool dominated for long spells but Eberechi Eze failed to make the most of an excellent second-half opportunity for the Eagles, who are in the relegation zone after their 1-0 defeat.
Brentford vs Wolves: Goals galore at Gtech
Brentford stayed unbeaten at home in all competitions this season in style, scoring four times during the first half through Nathan Collins, returning captain Christian Norgaard, Bryan Mbeumo from the penalty spot and Ethan Pinnock.
Wolves, who remain bottom of the table on one point after a fifth consecutive defeat in all competitions, equalised twice through Matheus Cunha and Jorgen Strand Larsen. Fabio Carvalho added another for the hosts in the 90th minute and Rayan Aït-Nouri scored during added time to make the result 5-3.

West Ham vs Ipswich: Hammers off mark at home
West Ham were desperate for victory after starting the season with three home league defeats, and Michail Antonio put them on their way by scoring in the first minute, although Liam Delap replied five minutes later for Ipswich, who had drawn their previous four games.
Mohammed Kudus, who also hit a post, scored from the rebound after Antonio’s header hit the crossbar, and Jarrod Bowen added another after the break. Lucas Paqueta netted the final goal in the Hammers’ 4-1 win.
Leicester vs Bournemouth: Buonanotte goal thrills Foxes
Leicester claimed their first win of the season as the Foxes beat Bournemouth through a fine strike by 19-year-old Brighton loanee Facundo Buonanotte.
Record Bournemouth signing Evanilson, who opened his account in their 3-1 home win over Southampton on Monday, had a second-half equaliser ruled out for offside.
