West Ham vs Man United: Ten Hag penalty pain
Jarrod Bowen’s 92nd-minute penalty – awarded against Matthijs de Ligt for a challenge on Danny Ings when referee David Coote consulted his pitchside monitor – gave West Ham a 2-1 victory and cranked up the pressure on United manager Erik ten Hag.
Crysencio Summerville slid the Hammers, who rose above their opponents to 13th, ahead in the 74th minute, with Casemiro nodding in seven minutes later for United, who could not find a way back during 14 minutes of added time and have only once returned fewer points from their first nine Premier League games.

Chelsea vs Newcastle: Palmer goal decides result
Cole Palmer had an early strike ruled out for offside but would not ultimately be denied as Chelsea’s talisman scored the winner following a run from the halfway line to give his side a 2-1 victory over Newcastle.
Nicolas Jackson had slotted in the 19th-minute opener from Pedro Neto’s ball, and Alexander Isak bundled in 13 minutes from half-time to draw 12th-placed Newcastle level. Chelsea moved up to fourth, level on points with Arsenal before the 4.30pm GMT kick-off at Emirates Stadium.

Crystal Palace vs Tottenham: Match winner Mateta
Oliver Glasner has been under scrutiny after Crystal Palace’s eight-match winless start to their league season, so Jean-Philippe Mateta’s 31st-minute winner was a relief for the Austrian as the Eagles rose out of the bottom three with a 1-0 victory.
Mateta was helped by calamitous Tottenham passing deep inside their own territory as Spurs suffered a fourth defeat of the campaign, leaving Ange Postecoglou’s side eighth.
