Premier League title hopefuls Arsenal fell 13 points behind leaders Liverpool as they again drew a blank in a 0-0 draw at Nottingham Forest.
After losing 1-0 at home to West Ham last weekend Mikel Arteta’s side again proved toothless in front of goal, with defender Riccardo Calafiori’s shot against the post the closest they came.
Chris Wood, unsurprisingly, went closest to a goal for Forest but David Raya saved his effort.

The draw keeps alive Forest’s hopes of qualifying for the Champions League next season, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s men sitting six points behind Arsenal and two clear of Chelsea in fifth.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta said his side would concede the title “over my dead body” but he may have to accept his side’s challenge has died a death after this stalemate.

Everton fight on
A first goal for Everton defender Jake O’Brien saw the Toffees stretch their unbeaten run to seven Premier League matches with a 1-1 draw at Brentford.

Yoane Wissa’s 13th goal of the season looked set to condemn boss David Moyes to only a second defeat in his eighth league match back in charge.
But Irish defender O’Brien’s second-half header made it 15 points from a possible 24 since Moyes returned.
The Toffees could have won it as well, had in-form striker Beto not come out on the wrong side of his personal duel with Bees goalkeeper Mark Flekken.
Maguire heads United winner
Manchester United gifted Ipswich an opener and had defender Patrick Dorgu sent off in the first half but rallied to win 3-2 at Old Trafford.
Jaden Philogene scored twice for Ipswich but an own goal from Sam Morsy was added to by Matthijs de Ligt and Maguire to give United the win.
Haaland returns with City winner
Erling Haaland returned to the Manchester City side to score his 20th league goal of the season as Pep Guardiola’s side emerged with a 1-0 victory against Tottenham.

The result moves Guardiola’s team back into the Premier League top four, while Ange Postecoglou’s men remain in 13th spot.
