Ange Postecoglou

Tensions are high at both Southampton and Tottenham for two very different reasons.

The Saints are well and truly at risk of being relegated on their return to the Premier League, while Spurs are falling away from the European places already.

Both managers in Russell Martin and Ange Postecoglou are under pressure and a win at St Mary’s could alleviate some of that in both camps.

Tottenham have made a habit of dropping points against bottom-half teams this season, so this could make for a good spectacle.

Read on to see how both teams line-up.

Southampton line-up

Despite being bottom, the Saints still have some quality players in their line-up.

Alex McCarthy is in goal, with Ryan Manning, Flynn Downes, Jan Bednarek, Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Kyle Walker-Peters making up a back five.

Joe Ariba will hold in the middle.

And he will have Tyler Dibling and Mateus Fernandes ahead of him.

A front two of Kamaldeen Sulemana and Adam Armstrong complete the team.

Tottenham line-up

Spurs remain ravaged by injuries at the back.

Fraser Forster is in goal, with Destiny Udogie, Archie Gray, Radu Dragusin and Djed Spence in defence.

Lucas Bergvall gets the nod to start his first Premier League game, alongside Pape Matar Sarr and James Maddison.

Heung-Min Son and Dejan Kulusevski provide the width.

And Dominic Solanke is up top.
