Brentford boss Thomas Frank is looking forward to playing at Goodison Park for what may be the final time before Everton move into their new stadium.

The Bees have enjoyed a decent start to the 2024-25 campaign, winning five of their 11 games.

But they will face a tough test against Sean Dyche’s men as they look to move away from the Premier League’s relegation zone.

Speaking on the significance of the ground and match, Frank said: “It’s an iconic ground, I think there’s so much history into that ground.

“For me as a foreigner, coming into the Premier League, to England and playing there, it’s one of the grounds I enjoyed the most to play at.

“Of course we haven’t had as much success, we’ve lost more than we have won but no matter what, the fans, the ground and everything around is amazing and I am looking forward to it again and it will be noisy, no doubt about that and it’s up to use to keep the noise down.”

Frank provided some good news in terms of team news.

The likes of Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa will both be available for the trip to Merseyside.

Frank added: “All of them I expect to be available and ready for Saturday. In all three situations, different minor issues.

“It was a bit similar to the last international break, where we had [Mikkel] Damsgaard and [Christian] Norgaard called up for Denmark but they didn’t travel but they managed to get ready for the next game, so sometimes a week rest makes all the difference so I expect them to be ready.”
