Tottenham find themselves with work to do once again in the Premier League as they trail Bournemouth at half-time.

The Cherries have been the better side in North London, and could be two or three goals up had it not been for a few superb Guglielmo Vicario saves.

But Andoni Iraola’s side got their reward a few minutes from half-time thanks to some magic from Milos Kerkez.

A Tottenham counter-attack was halted when Kerkez intercepted Pedro Porro’s wide pass, and sparked a break of his own for the Cherries.

The left-back charged down the flank before firing a high, hanging cross towards the far post from deep, where James Tavernier arrived to slide in and volley home, putting the Cherries 1-0 up in sublime style.

Kerkez has now assisted five Premier League goals this season – the joint-most by any Bournemouth defender in a single campaign.

It leaves Spurs behind once again, with the crowd in the capital turning on their players and manager as they head towards their 19th defeat of the season.
