Tottenham will be without striker Dominic Solanke for six weeks after he suffered a knee injury in training, manager Ange Postecoglou said.

Solanke missed the Europa League win at Hoffenheim on Thursday night and joins an already-extensive injury list.

Spurs are without goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, centre backs Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven, and wingers Brennan Johnson and Timo Werner.

A dreadful run of one win in 10 league matches has seen Postecoglou’s side slip to 15th place in the Premier League.

“With Dom, the information now is around the six-week mark with him,” Postecoglou said.

“He hasn’t had surgery but we’re looking around six weeks. It might be quicker but we’ll see.”

Spurs next host Leicester City in the Premier League on Sunday. Solanke will miss the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg meeting with Liverpool as well as several Premier League games.
