Tottenham will be without defender Micky van de Ven against Aston Villa, but manager Ange Postecoglou says his hamstring injury is not serious.
The Dutch centre-back came off in the early stages of the midweek victory over Manchester City in the Carabao Cup, but should return after this month’s international break.
“The main one is Micky and, yeah, he has strained his hamstring. It’s not too serious but it’s probably after the international break for him,” Postecoglou said.
“He was disappointed, obviously, but it’s definitely not a bad one like last time which kept him out for a while.”
Cristian Romero and Timo Werner were also brought off in midweek and will be assessed before Sunday’s fixture at home to Villa.
Spurs captain Son Heung-min missed the match after a setback with a recent hamstring injury, but returned to training on Friday.
Postecoglou said: “The others were Romero and Werner, but at the moment they still have a chance for the weekend.
“Son has trained today. If he gets through training tomorrow, he should be OK.”
