Wolves have confirmed Vitor Pereira as their new head coach, with the Portuguese manager signing an 18-month contract with the club.
At 56, Pereira brings a vast array of experience to Molineux, having secured league titles in Portugal, Greece, and China during his managerial career.
The former head coach of Al Shabab in Saudi Arabia, Pereira oversaw his first training session at Wolves’ Compton Park facility on Thursday.
He will make his Premier League debut as Wolves’ manager when the team faces Leicester City this weekend.
Pereira began his managerial journey in 2004 with Portuguese side Sanjoanense, and his resume now boasts 13 managerial roles across multiple countries.
He found major success at Porto, winning consecutive Primeira Liga titles in 2012 and 2013, with his team losing only one league match over two seasons.
Later, he achieved a similar feat in Greece, where he led Olympiacos to the Super League title in 2015.
