Juventus have announced the loan signing of Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani until the end of the 2024-25 campaign.

The 26-year-old has featured in 14 matches for PSG this season but has not appeared for the French side since 6 December.

Despite interest from Premier League clubs, including Tottenham and Manchester United, Kolo Muani has opted to make the switch to Turin.

The forward initially signed a five-year deal with PSG after joining from Eintracht Frankfurt in September 2023 for a reported fee of £76.4 million.

Juventus said in a statement: “His arrival in Turin comes as an important addition to Thiago Motta’s squad, bringing both quality and experience to the attack, whether he plays centrally or out wide. Welcome to Juventus, Randal!”

Born and raised in the suburbs of Paris, Kolo Muani began his professional career at Nantes before making the move to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.

The French international has struggled to establish himself at PSG this season, falling out of favour with manager Luis Enrique.

His hefty price tag left heavy expectations on his performance in the capital, but the emergence of the likes of Bradley Barcola and Desire Doue left it very difficult for Muani to fight his way back into the squad.

Kolo Muani has earned 27 caps for France, scoring eight goals for his national team.

He nearly etched his name into history during the 2022 World Cup final, narrowly missing a late opportunity to win the match against Argentina.

This fresh start for the forward will give him the perfect opportunity to revive his career and Juventus will be first in line to make a move permanent in the summer should he impress.
