Japanese Grand Prix Recap 🇯🇵

It was Max Verstappen who claimed his fourth Japanese Grand Prix victory in a row as the current world champion closed the gap to McLaren’s Lando Norris to just one point. Norris came in second, with his teammate Oscar Piastri coming in third.

Yuki Tsunoda, in his home grand prix and debut race for Red Bull alongside Max Verstappen, finished in 12th place, while Liam Lawson, whom he replaced in the Red Bull seat, finished 17th following his return back to RB.

Both Ferarri’s and Mercedes saw finishes in the points as Charles Leclerc came home in fourth, followed by Lewis Hamilton in 7th. George Russell finished in a respectable 5th, with Kimi Antonelli right behind in 6th.

This race also saw another points finish for Haas as rookie Ollie Bearman came in 10th place. His teammate, Esteban Ocon, was 18th in the first race of the season which saw all 20 cars make it to the end.

Bahrain Grand Prix Qualifying Preview 🇧🇭

After opening the Formula One season for the last four years, 2025 sees Bahrain switch to number four due to the timing of Ramadan. In stark contrast to last weekend at Suzuka, Bahrain will see temperatures above 30c°.

The track features long straights with heavy braking zones, making it great for drivers and fans to enjoy some overtaking. There are three DRS zones, and it is known for being a tough track to manage tyres on.

In Practice 1, three reserve drivers will take the wheel: Frederik Vesti will replace George Russell in his Mercedes, Felipe Drugovich will drive Fernando Alonso’s Aston Martin, and Luke Browning will replace Carlos Sainz in the Williams.

Ones to Watch

Red Bull

After winning out at Suzuka, Max Verstappen will be on the hunt to secure another pole position ahead of the competitive McLarens. Yuki Tsunoda will be looking to improve on his second race for Red Bull and be closer to his teammate towards the front of the grid.

Mercedes

The three opening races of the season have been positive for Toto Wolff and his Mercedes team, including last time out, which saw both drivers finish in the top 8: George Russell in 5th and young Kimi Anontelli in 6th, right where they started the race. Looking for another strong performance this weekend in Bahrain, could the Mercedes duo disrupt the front of the grid?

Haas

Another fantastic weekend for Ollie Bearman saw the Brit make it to Q3 on Saturday and keep his Haas car there to secure a points finish in the race. Coming off the back of a high, can Bearman make it three points finishes from three races?

Popular Formula 1 Betting Markets

Ante Post 🤔

Do you have an idea who will win the drivers’ or constructors’ championships? Or do you just want to place some early bets and get ahead of the game? With Formula One ante-post betting markets, you can place your bets from now until the end of the season on who you believe the potential champions will be in the car and out of it come the end of the season.

Fastest Qualifier 🏎️💨

Place your Bahrain Grand Prix Predictions on who you think will be the fastest driver of all 20 cars during qualifying, and go on to take pole position for the race. With the unpredictability of qualifying, this is an exciting betting market that is really popular each race week, especially when different tracks suit different cars and driver setups. Qualifying really is anyone’s game.

Race Winner 🏆

To place a race winner bet, simply place your bets on the driver that you think will finish in P1 on a race weekend. If the driver you selected is the correct one that goes onto win, so should your bet! As one of the easiest bets to place on Formula One, placing a race-winner bet is a great option for beginners as well as for bettors who just want a quick and easy bet to place in the lead-up to a race.

Podium Finish 🥇🥈🥉

Place a podium finish bet by putting your money on the driver or the team that you are predicting to finish on the podium in a race. Correctly guess who you think will finish first, second or third ahead of the race, and if you get any of the drivers finishing positions on the podium correct, your podium finish bet should be a success!
