Seventh-placed Monaco will look to get back in the win column after a struggle throughout October sees them now winless in their past four games ahead of playing hosts to Angers at the Louis II Stadium.
Monaco would draw 1-1 with Ferencvaros last time out in the Europa League, and combined with their defeat to Lille last weekend in a 4-3 thriller, the club are in their worst run of form this season. They also fell to a 1-1 draw with Clermont Foot and a 4-0 loss to Trabzonspor in the Europa League just prior to this.
Monaco did mange to get past Trabzonspor in the Europa League back at the start of the month, and with them defeating Montpellier 2-0 and Nantes 4-1, they do still have wins in October to boast about.
Angers, on the other hand, are sitting rock bottom of ligue 1 after a dreadful run of form sees them with only two wins on the board and the most goals conceded in the French top flight.
They lost to Rennes last time out, after defeats against Strasbourg, Toulouse and Marseille. It also means they have let in 11 goals in the past four games, scoring five of their own. Angers’ last win came just before the international break in a narrow victory over Nice.
